Selected line workers of BILECO underwent a training for knot tying today, April 3, 2023, at the coop’s Solidarity Hall.
The said training was conducted by the Boy Scout of the Philippines (BSP) Biliran Council training team, namely: Mr. Diosdado C. Paa, Mr. Crisanto B. Rosario and Mr. Josefel S. Padoga. Mr. Paa and Mr. Rosario, both school heads from Caibiran National High School and Bool Elementary School, respectively, discussed the techniques in basic knot tying, while Mr. Padoga, Teacher I of Cabucgayan Central School, talked about the advance techniques in knot tying.
The training aims to equip the participants in the basic knot tying which is useful in their day-to-day activities as linemen. It is also part of their preparations for the upcoming Linemen’s Rodeo, one of the competitions in the FRECORlympics 2023 participated by 11 electric cooperatives in Region 8 to be held this month.##
