Around 15 female personnel and officers of the coop joined the celebration held on Tuesday, 21 March 2023 at the BiPSU Gym. The event commenced with a holy mass followed by a parade from the Naval Cathedral to the venue. The coop ladies together with women participants from the eight (8) municipalities of Biliran Province attended the lectures on mental health and Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act which were discussed by resource speakers: Ms. Vanessa V. Ramirez and Ms. Corazon A. David, respectively. The latter also discussed the anti-cybercrime law and right parenting.
The program was hosted by the Provincial Council for Women’s Welfare, Inc. (PCWWI) headed by its president, Dr. Cecil M. Espina, and was also attended by Governor Gerard Roger M. Espina together with the municipal mayors, namely: Mayor Gretchen Stephanie M. Espina (Naval), Mayor Rhodessa D. Revita (Caibiran) and Mayor Humphrey Olimba (Culaba).
