2023 Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)

Several coop employees ducked down to the floor, took cover under their desks, held on until the shaking stopped and safely went outside the building towards an open area during the earthquake drill conducted at its office premises today, March 9.

The NSED is being conducted quarterly nationwide and is spearheaded by the NDRRMC together with the Office of the Civil Defense. This is done to intensify earthquake preparedness and to instill in the mind of every person the practice of duck, cover and hold when ground shaking occurs or during earthquakes.
