BILECO Task Force Kapatid (TFK) for typhoon Tisoy has officially started their work  in Northern Samar to assist Norsamelco in the rehabilitation of their damaged distribution lines caused by typhoon Tisoy.

The TFK is a culture and initiative of FRECOR 8 and APEC party-list to help sister electric cooperatives who are in need of technical, financial and institutional assistance, especially during calamities.

In 2015, FRECOR 8 also provided aid to Norsamelco in the aftermath of typhoon Nona which caused devastation to the province.
