Bileco employees have attended the mandatory 8-hour safety and health seminar and defensive driving techniques training held at Island Breeze, AR Hotel in Naval, Biliran on August 15-16.

Said training is conducted in compliance to Republic Act 11058 or An act strengthening occupational safety and health standards for all employees.

The resource speakers during the event were Engr. Maria Elena L. Diez, Regional Coordinator of OSH from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office VIII, Ms. Michelle Basal, Information Officer of DOLE Regional Office VIII who discussed the employees compensation program.

Meanwhile, the Land Transportation Office headed by Ms. Grace M. Carsido, Supervising Transportation and Regulatory Officer, tackled on road safety, laws and defensive driving technique training.
