Coinciding the 12-hour scheduled power interruption of NGCP last April 9, BILECO had successfully accomplished line upgrading and maintenance activities.

One accomplishment was the installation of additional AC recloser located in Sitio Camp Pongos, Bato, Biliran as a measure to improve system reliability. Also, BILECO was able to install 3 units 100kVA transformer and metering equipment owned by Jollibee Naval in preparation to their grand opening on April 20.

The metering service provider of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines had also conducted the annual preventive maintenance service at San Roque, Biliran Substation.
