BILECO successfully conducted its first ever online bidding for the supply and delivery of materials intended for this year’s Sitio Electrification Program on February 8, 2021.
The said virtual bidding was part of the initiative under the new normal to minimize physical interactions with its suppliers.
BILECO adhered on the proposed guidelines of the National Electrification Administration in the conduct of online procurement following the Government Procurement Reform Act.
The online bidders who participated in the online bid opening are Go Enterprises, EDMI Philippines, Asia Philippines and Centerade Integrated Sales Corporation represented by their company representatives, Ms. Pia Tresha Dela Torre, Engr. Wilson Escarda, Mr. Nolindo Gallano, and Ms. Theresa Christine Montilla, respectively.
The BAC declared the winners before the adjournment. Unfortunately, four lots were subject for re-bidding due to disqualification of one of the bidders.
