BILECO personnel successfully attended a two-day Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) filing procedure training conducted by the National Electrification Administration (NEA) held on November 3 and 4, 2022 at Marvin’s Seaside Inn in Brgy. Atipolo, Naval.
This training was made possible through NEA-Electric Cooperative Training Institute (NETI) headed by Officer-In-Charge Rina R. Dolina who accompanied Engr. Exequiel T. Evale, Jr., the resource speaker of the said training. The participants of the event were the key personnel in the distribution system planning of the coop particularly the CorPlan team together with selected personnel from the technical services department, finance services department, internal audit department and from the office of the general manager.
The objective of the said training is to equip EC personnel with the necessary knowledge in preparing data and documentary requirements for CAPEX filing with the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) which primarily includes planning on maintaining power safety, capacity, power quality, reliability, and system loss of its power distribution system; and to be able to comply with regulatory requirements to the commission.
