BILECO once again called a meeting with the Multi-Sectoral Electrification Advisory Council (MSEAC) for the third quarter of 2017 on September 21 at the BILECO Multi-Purpose Building in Caraycaray, Naval.
The MSEAC members coming from the different districts of the franchise area elected their new set of officers for a term of three years. The officers were informed of the latest projects of BILECO more particularly the implementation of its capital expenditure projects early next year which include among others the construction of 69kV line from Biliran to Naval and the construction of a new substation in Caraycaray, Naval.
The council was also informed that MCO empowerment and education will be institutionalized through MCO organizations in the entire area coverage as one of the seven-point agenda of NEA Administrator Edgardo Masongsong.
Likewise, two proposed Coop policy amendments were presented to the council for their comments and suggestions before submitting to the Board for approval.
The meeting was also attended by members of the Board, namely: Dir. Alberto Espregante, Dir. Salvacion Jornales, and Dir. Reynaldo Rostata.
